The Wildflower School was a new preschool built in Fall 2023 in Silverthorne, Colorado. The Town of Silverthorne issued a call to action for a mural that would incorporate local flora and fauna to represent the mission of the Wildflower School.

The mural measured 9 feet tall by 48 feet long and was designed to showcase the local animals and plants that Summit County residents encounter in their backyards on a daily basis. The bear depicted in the tree was actually inspired by a bear that climbed an aspen in my front yard!
